Geto is located in Iwate prefecture. It receives a huge amount of snow falls. The tree run ares are so much fun for powder skiing & snowboarding after massive snow storms. Perfect for anyone chasing powder conditions.
Where to stay
There are 3 distintive accommodation options to chose from at Geto Kogen. Ski in & out options include Geto Camp 88 & Premium Stay Gou. Geto Camp 88 is dormitory style & Premium Stay Gou has private rooms with slope views & ensuites. Semi Onsen Ryokan is a more traditional and upmarket style Ryokan situated only 10 minutes drive from the slopes by free shuttle.

It takes just over three hours from Tokyo via shinkansen and taxi and we can help arrange all transfers.
The accommodation, location, food and service were all exceptional.
